Hotel Columbus

While in Rome we stayed at the Hotel Columbus. 

The best part of the hotel was the location.  We could easily get to all of these places.

Okay, so the view from our room wasn't the best.....

However, the view from the door was unbelievable.  That is Peter's Basilica at the end of the street.

The outside was beautiful.  I would stay here again simply because of the location.  As far as the rest....remember that it is all about location!!!!

The big staircases we had to take up and down reminded me of an old I Love Lucy Show when they stayed in Italy and had to keep running up and down the stairs to answer the phone. 

Our bathroom was a tub with a sprayer connected to the spout.  No shower curtain or anything....it was very interesting!  The rooms looked like some one had found a bunch of old twin beds and just put the randomly around the rooms.  

This was the elevator.  That is really about it's size.  It could barely  get two people up and down.  No luggage was allowed.
